Water Feature Installation in Rio Rancho

Custom Ponds & Pondless Waterfalls Built for Rio Rancho, NM Yards

A well-designed water feature does more than look good. In Rio Rancho, NM, where desert conditions shape every landscaping decision, recirculating water features add movement, sound, and a genuine focal point to outdoor spaces without the water waste concerns that come with traditional spray irrigation. Just Sprinklers has been serving New Mexico homeowners since 1996, and our Rio Rancho location brings that same depth of experience to Sandoval County properties. We handle everything from the initial consultation through installation, and our retail stores stock the pond supplies you’ll need for years of easy upkeep. We offer free estimates on all water feature installations, and our bilingual staff can assist in English and Spanish.

Water Feature Types We Install

We install three primary types of water features, each suited to different yard sizes, maintenance preferences, and aesthetic goals.

Pondless Waterfalls

A pondless waterfall recirculates water through a hidden underground reservoir rather than an open pond. You get the sound and movement of falling water with a lower day-to-day maintenance commitment. No exposed standing water makes this design a practical choice for households with young children or pets. It also fits naturally into the desert-adapted and xeriscape-compatible landscapes common across Rio Rancho.

Custom Ponds

We build koi ponds and water gardens with aquatic plants, sized and shaped to your yard. Walkways, stepping stones, and outdoor lighting can all be incorporated to connect the water feature to the rest of your outdoor living space. Moss rock and natural stone work well in New Mexico landscapes and give custom ponds a look that belongs in the regional terrain rather than against it.

Cascading Waterfalls

For larger outdoor spaces, a cascading waterfall creates a tiered focal point with steady movement and sound. These installations pair well with existing hardscape or planting beds and can serve as the centerpiece of a broader landscape redesign. We stock pond liners, pumps, and UV clarifiers at our New Mexico retail locations, so parts and supplies are available locally when you need them for routine care.
